]]> Margareta P. Correia is a Senior Scientist and Team Leader in Onco-Immuno-Epigenetics at the Cancer Biology & Epigenetics Group, IPO Porto Research Center. She graduated in Applied Biology (2004, Minho University) and completed a PhD in Biomedical Sciences (2010, ICBAS, Porto) on Tumor Immunology. Awarded a German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2011, she worked as Scientist at the DKFZ and Heidelberg University (2011–2019), where she established her line of research, secured funding, supervised students, and lectured in MSc and BSc programs. Since end 2019, at IPO Porto, she is establishing a pioneering research field in the crossing areas of Tumor Immunology and Epigenetics, supervising PhD/MSc students, and teaching at Porto University. She has several high-impact publications, and is currently Principal Investigator of an awarded FCT IC&DT Grant (2022), supporting cutting-edge research into how epigenetic modifications shape immune responses in tumors.
